Jagannath Temple Bangalore
Jagannath Temple is a temple devoted to Jagannath the Hindu god, Balabhadra his son, and Subhadra sister. Located in Agara, Bangalore, India, on Sarjapur Road, its primary festival is the annual Rath Yatra, which sees over 15,000 worshippers. The temple is preserved by the Bangalore Sri Jagannath Temple Trust.
Jagannath Mandir, The new Temple will open from 17 May 2015 in Bangalore at Agara. After a large pooja ceremony from 17 to 23 May 2015, all the Deities idol would be taken to the new temple.
Rath Yatra in Bangalore:
The Lords Jagannath, Balarama, and Subhadra are performed from the Jagannath temple on an auspicious day and sitting on the chariot, all covered with flowers and lights. The magnificent chariot has a red canopy and is pulled on the sides by dense ropes. The Lords are bejeweled and adorned with aarti, religious chant, choral devotional hymns, and rhythmic drums and cymbals.
