Palakonda Waterfalls Kadapa:
Palakondalu Waterfalls is one of most visited tourist spot of Kadapa .It was located in the area Puttampalli amid dense forest. There was a temple the God MAHAVISHNU Here Named as “PALAKONDARAYA” SWAMI Along with Goddess Devi. It was an 11th Century Temple. This Hills is also known as Kadapa Palakonda Hills.
We can see a huge crowd on Saturday’s of Indian month (SRAVANA MASA) and Mondays of (KARTHIKA MASA). We can see the temples of Lakshmi Narasimha, Vigneswara, and Lakshmi Devi beside this Temple. The Management of this temple will conduct some special Program on Sravanamasam . Like Annadhanam and Kalyanotsavam.
The local people of Kadapa town will conduct some Traditional practice of Karthikamasa “Vanabhojanam”. On Every Saturday the priests perform special Abhishekam Pooja to God and Goddess. On Sravanamasam the NCC and NSS students of Kadapa spend their time on temple to help the people who visit the temple.
Palakondalu Waterfalls it is a natural waterfalls placed among rolling hills .The visitors have to walk for few kilometers as to reach there. The way looks like trekking spot it has some steps and flat surface to walk. The Surroundings was covered with full of Greenery on all sides. Tourists can enjoy the beauty and climate of palakondalu hills. This is the only Waterfalls that near to Kadapa. There are 5 waterfalls near the Temple one is the bigger and the remaining are the Subs of it.

Kadapa to Palakonda Distance: Palakonda waterfalls distance has 8 km’s distance from Kadapa RTC bus stand and 10 km’s from Kadapa Railway station. It takes 15 minutes time (11 km’s) via Kadapa Bypass Road. It is located few meters distance from NagaraVanam park of Kadapa. It is very close to RIMS Hospital.

Palakonda Waterfalls Kadapa Accommodation: The Temple Management doesn’t provide any accommodation for Tourists. Because the temple and Waterfalls are located at middle of forest hills. There are many hotels, resort accommodations for Tourists in Kadapa Town.
Palakondalu Kadapa Temple Timings: The Palakonda Temple was opened from Morning 5 am – 4 pm on Every Saturday. The Temple was opened from 6 am – 4 pm on Monday to Friday. Temple was opened during all days.
Palakonda Waterfalls Kadapa Timings: This palakondalu waterfalls remains opens on all days of the week. It is better to visit the Waterfall in Monsoon for Enjoying the Beauties of Waterfalls and the Greenery. The best time from August – November to enjoy the Nature. There are no Specific timings to visit this Waterfalls. But Daytime would be best to visit. It is not safe at nights due to dense Forest.
