Alladupalle

Alladupalle is a village in Chapadu mandal in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh state, India. The Temple of Sri VeeraBhadra Swamy, which is located on the banks of Kundu River. It is also called as ‘Alladupalle Devalalu‘. Sri VeeraBhadra Swamy and Badrakali Ammavaru got poojas and we can spot Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Navagrahas too in this Temple.

Sri Veera Brahman garu himself painted the sculpture of Sri VeeraBhadra Swami, Considered that lord as his guru, installed, worshipped and served in Alladupalle.

About Alladupalle Temple:

The idol of Sri VeeraBhadra Swamy was personally created by Sri Veera Brahmendra swamiji and it is very beautiful and attractive. There is a belief that the size of Sri VeeraBhadra Swami’s idol increasing itself day by day and since it is crossing the height of the Temple’s main entrance little by little, to stop growth of the idol a machine was fixed on the head of the crown of the idol, according to the priest’s there to see the idol in its full size one has to bend them self before the entrance and then only it is visible.

Festivals celebrate at Alladupalle Temple:

Sri VeeraBhadra swami is born in Rudraksha. Therefore Mondays are considered as auspicious for the pooja of this Lord as Rudra. On the Mondays of Karthika Masa are important days apart from routine Mondays to the devotees who visits the temple.

On the Day of Mahashivaratri an annual fair (Tirunala) will be celebrated. In the 10 days of Sankranti festival On the Kanuma festival farmers flock to tirunala in large number in Bullock carts and Tractors. They Distribute Shanaga, Alasanda, Guggulu, Panakam in the Tirunala. Annadanam program will be held for the devotees. There will be Mythological drama performance, Chekka bhajana and Hari kadha performance conducted. Then swami goes hunting in the villages. The next day there is a great bull fight will be conducted by Villagers.

Facilities for Pilgrims

Auspicious activities like Marriage and Hair cutting (kesakandana) are held in this temple. This Temple is under the state government department. There are Arya vaisya Annasatram, Sri Vasavi kalyana mandapam, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam kalyana mandapam, Sarvajana Kalyana mandapam.

How to Reach Alladupalle

By Road:

Alladupalle is located in between proddatur and Mydukur. Proddatur is the Nearest town, Which is 10kms away from Alladupalle. Mydukur bus station, Vannipenta Bus station, Dhuvvur Bus station are nearby bus stations to Alladupalle.

By Train:

There is no railway station near by less than 10kms. The Nearest Railway stations are presents at Proddatur, kadapa. Proddatur, Yerraguntla, Mydukur, Kadapa, Kajipeta are the nearest tows to Alladupalle
