Visakha Museum
The Visakha Museum (Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Museum) is a museum in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, that houses the Kalingandhra region’s historical riches and relics. It is owned by the Government of India and was opened on October 8, 1991 by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Janardhana Reddy.
Ancient armoury, pottery, coins, silk costumes, jewellery, stuffed animals, portraits, manuscripts, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, newspapers, and maps are among the museum’s collections. All of these were employed by the region’s early settlers. Here you’ll find a variety of warship, plane, and submarine models. There are also several historical artefacts from other countries.

Adults pay ten rupees per person.
Children are charged Rs. 5 per person ( 5 – 12 years)
