The main attraction for devotees at Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is performing Ganapati Homam on Daily in the Morning. To perform this Homam one has to pay INR 1500 to the temple. The interests of which are used for homam throughout the year, as requested by the devotees.
Rathotsavam is also held daily around the temple in the Evening time devotees can participate in this ritual.

History of Eachanari Vinayagar temple
It is said that while the 6 feet high and 3 feet diameter Vinayaka idol was being transported from Madurai in a cart to be enshrined in the Perur Patishwarar temple, the axle(Wheel) of the cart was broken in Echanari and sat on the place, Where the temple was built at that Place. The Temple had its first Kumbhabhishekam in 1977 and renovated the temple and then performed the second and last Kumbhabhishekam in 1990. The Temple was built in a Dravidian style of Architecture with a spiritual vibe around it.
