Bala Hanuman Temple is a Hindu temple located on the southeast corner of Ranmal Lake in Jamnagar in the State of Gujarat in India. It is one of the famous temples of Gujarat and one of the places worth visiting in Jamnagar.
Bala Hanuman Temple also known as Sri Bala Hanuman Sankeertana Mandir is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This temple was established in 1964 AD by Sri Prem Bhikshu Ji Maharaj. The temple has idols of Rama, Lakshmana, Sita Devi and Hanuman. Since 1964, the temple is very famous for chanting ‘Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’ continuously for 24 hours, which is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. One of the main attractions of the Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar is the endless chanting of Sri Rama’s mantra, known as ‘Ram Dhun‘ or the song of Rama.

Jamnagar has an intriguing history dating back to 1540 AD, Jamnagar is often called “Nawanagar”, meaning “New City”. It was produced by Shri Jam Rawal. He is one of the descendants of Lord Krishna. Here, Sri Prembhikshuji became a monk(Saint). He started the tradition of Akhanda (non-stop) chanting of Ram Nama in Jamnagar and gradually spread this tradition to Dwarka, Porbandar, Rajkot, Junagadh and other places.

It is built on the south-eastern side of the Ramnal lake. The architecture of the temple also portrays an intricate structure with ethnically designed pillars and exquisite carvings. There is also a common saying around the area that the temple has withstood natural calamities like cyclones, earthquakes and border invasions.
