Mantralayam Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple:
Mantralayam is a small town in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, India, that is well-known as a pilgrimage destination. It is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, a major tributary of the Krishna River, near the Karnataka state boundary. Raghavendra Swami, a prominent sage who lived in the 17th century and took the Jivant – Live Samadhi here in the sight of devotees and disciples, is well known for his brundavan. The Vyasaraja Mutt and Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha were founded by Acharya’s devotees, and the original Mutt was named for the founders and head saints. Sri Raghavendra Swamy, a Hindu academic, theologian, and saint, was a Hindu scholar, theologian, and saint. Sudha Parimala Acharya was another name for him. He was born in Venkatanatha, Tamil Nadu, in the town of Bhuvanagiri.Madhva, Jayatirtha, and Vyasatirtha were the subjects of his work. He was the head of one of the largest pithas for about 50 years. He was gifted in a variety of disciplines, including logic, mimasa, music, yoga, dharma Shastra, and all 64 forms of art. Raghvendra Swamy temple’s main shrine is located in the heart of the massive temple complex. Three chariots encrusted with silver, sandalwood, and gold are another highlight of the shrine. Every night at 8 p.m.The saint’s idol is carried around the temple on a chariot.

Mantralayam Temple Timings:
From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Darshana of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji’s Moola Brindavana will be available. The matham’s main gate will close at 2:00 p.m. for Garbha Gruha cleaning. Darshana will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 9.00 p.m.
HH Sri Swamiji usually blesses and gives Mantrakshate from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 6.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Mantralayam Temple Dress Code:
Mantralayam Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple has a rigorous dress code.
Men should dress in a Dhoti and not wear a shirt (only Angavastram).
Women should dress in a sari or salwar kameez.
Denim, shorts, and T-shirts are not permitted to be worn inside the Mantralayam temple.
