It contains 12 Jyotirlinga replicas that were made in accordance with the original deities’ dimensions and then blessed by being sent to the appropriate pilgrimage sites. The Muktidham compound also houses a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Paintings on the walls of the Krishna temple show scenes from the Mahabharata and Krishna’s life. The creator of Muktidham, Jairambhai Chauhan, hired the talents of renowned painter Raghubir Mulgaonkar to create them. The walls of this shrine are covered in engravings of the first 18 chapters of the Geeta.Rajasthani sculptors used marble from Makrana in Rajasthan to create the temple.

Muktidham Story:

 Muktidham Mandir was built by the late J.D. Chauhan, a philanthropist and a spiritual leader, envisioned a temple dedicated to various Hindu deities and revered saints. The construction of the temple began in 1971 and was completed in 1973. The temple’s inauguration took place on May 30, 1971.

Architectural Style: Muktidham Mandir showcases a fusion of architectural styles. The temple complex is constructed using white marble, which gives it a striking and majestic appearance. The exterior walls of the temple are adorned with intricately carved designs and motifs, depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. The main shrine, housing the idols, is constructed in the traditional Nagara style of architecture.

Significance: Muktidham Mandir holds immense religious significance for devotees. The temple houses replicas of twelve Jyotirlingas, which are considered sacred and symbolize Lord Shiva. These replicas are crafted with great precision and devotion.
