Sri Rajarajeswari Temple Nellore is a renowned Hindu temple devoted to Mother of Goddess Sri Rajarajeswari. The temple is situated in Andhra Pradesh state’s Durgamitta district of Nellore.
Rajarajeshwari Temple Nellore History:
In the year 1965, Arul Jyothi Nagaraja Murthy, who is rajarajeswari devi temple nellore Peetadhipathi situated in Tamil Nadu state’s Arcot district. He was going to Vijayawada, in the end, he rested in Dargamitta and felt Goddess Rajarajeswari’s presence.
Sri Ratnaswamy Mudaliar is the founder of the temple of Sri Rajarajeswari who took approval from the District Collector to build the temple. Other tiny shrines were later built in the temple grounds for Lord Subrahmanyeswara Swamy, Lord Sri Sundareswara Swamy, Goddess Gayatri, Lord Vinayaka, and Navagrahas. The temple was taken over by the Department of Endowment in 1985. Devi Navaratrulu (Dussera) is a popular festival celebrating devotees here and offering prayers.
